Herndon Square is a mixed-income, multifamily development situated in Atlanta’s English Avenue neighborhood. The project aims to revitalize the area by providing a combination of affordable and market-rate housing options. The first phase, completed in 2020, introduced 97 affordable units for seniors aged 62 and above. Subsequent phases have expanded the community, with Phase II adding 201 units and Phase III planned to include 178 units, 151 of which will be affordable. The development also features amenities such as a fitness center, wellness clinic, and community spaces designed to foster resident engagement. Herndon Square’s strategic location near Georgia Tech and the Georgia World Congress Center positions it as a key component in the ongoing revitalization of Atlanta’s Westside.
